![]() Again I couldn’t find a product that was able to give you a laminated look one day and a natural brow the next.Įnter Quick Brow. They were either fiddly and time consuming to use, left horrible residues, didn’t hold my brows in place for longer than an hour and left them feeling crunchy.Īnd while I love a laminated brow, some days I’m in the mood for something a little more natural and fluffy. After trying pretty much everything on the market, I just couldn’t find something I liked. I started my search for a product that could create the salon laminated brow, without having to go to the salon. Yikes - glue on your brows - that can’t be good for your brow hairs either! However after I developed a severe allergy to lash glues back in 2018, I realised a salon laminated brow was also a no go due to the use of glue during the process. The product was born out of my personal love for a laminated brow. I started working on Quick Brow sculpting lamination gel just over a year ago. Our first ever brow product is going to revolutionise the way you do your brows. But with our new product, boy is that easy to answer now! ![]() It’s £20 which puts it in a premium category when it comes to liners, so keep that in mind! I do think it’s worth it and I’d like to see how long this lasts before it dries out.I’m often asked what my favourite product is from our range and it’s always been a tough question to answer. All in all, I think this is a great product and will be perfect for someone who has difficulties with a cat eye. After trying it out a few times, getting the lines even will be much easier I’m sure. My finished flick was more dramatic than I had anticipated, but there’s nothing wrong with that! I will reserve this for the nighttime for sure, as I prefer a smaller flick during the day. This is really easy to use, although I find easier to match up my flicks with a traditional liner. ![]() PRODUCTS USED Rodial Glow Drops L’Oreal Pro Glow Foundation in 204 Tarte Shape Tape concealer Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer NARS Orgasm Blush Mac Paint pot in Groundwork QUICK FLICK in Blue Velvet (modest 10mm) Shiseido ImperiaLash Mascara Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip in Arriba! This is the navy colour so I’d be interested to see how dark the black one is. I did the same with the right eye, but it was a bit tricky getting it to match up with the first eye so I ended up going for a much more dramatic flick to even them out. ![]() Then, I filled out the line and straightened the tip of my cat-eye. I did my eye makeup as normal and then took the stamp part and carefully placed it, it’s a bit harder than it looks. The box contains two liners (one for the left eye, and one for the right eye), with two sides one side is the stamp and the other your classic liner. I have the 10mm which is a medium flick, there is also a ‘to the point’, an 8mm, and a 12mm. It’s an Australian brand that created this stamp liner in four different sizes, in navy, green and black. So I was definitely intrigued when I was given The Quick Flick to try. All these have helped me achieve the liner in the underground, on a taxi, on a bus, and in a car and I’ve done it pretty well. To me, the perfect liner should be thin enough for a small cat eye, so that it’s up to me to determine my line. I also know and have found out that for my eye shape the line should start 3/4 of the lid and not go all the way in the inner corner. Having finally found out the type of pen I like and can use (thin nib, liquid pen, no pots and excessive details, not too thin and one that doesn’t dry out after a week) – the L’Oreal is pretty good, and I also found the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner to be really close to that, though it did dry out a bit quicker. I’m not amazing at liquid liner but I’m quite good. Because even now I rarely use a kohl liner to do a cat eye, although Katie Jane Hughes does it so well that I often think about trying it out. Obviously, I was wrong no surprise there, mums do know best, but it was only when I started using a liquid liner that I really understood what she meant. My mum used to say “you should pull the line up to open up your eyes” I thought she had no clue what she was talking about. While at school the closest I ever got to achieving a liner look was a kohl pencil on my top lid, sometimes in a khaki-green shade. Sounds too good to be true? Perhaps, so I wanted to find out by using Quick Flick. A liner that’s ready for you to apply, with minimal effort.
